Buying gifts for Katherine has always been a challenge, but this year Billy Footwear came to the rescue!
The great thing about buying shoes for Katherine is that she has stopped growing and she doesn’t spend a lot of time on her feet, so shoes can last for a very long time. The challenge of course is finding shoes that fit over her AFO’s and still look cute.
What I find especially amazing about this Billy Footwear purchase is that I wasn’t looking for a special disability product when I found it. I was looking for cute shoes on the Nordstrom website in her size and these came up!
The company was co-founded by Billy Price who is paralyzed and wanted shoes that he could put on independently. I love everything about this so much. Thank you Billy for being an inspiration!
